Cream Cheese Frosting

I am sucker for yummy cream cheese frosting. I love it!

Don’t give me a thin glaze or a frosting with shortening in it. Blech. Cream cheese all the way!

Cinnamon Rolls with cream cheese frosting – Yes, please. Banana Bars with cream cheese frosting – Yes, please. Graham crackers with cream cheese frosting – Yes, please. A spoon with cream cheese frosting – Yes, please!

Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/4 C butter, room temperature
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 C powdered sugar
  • 1 T milk (if using for Cinnamon Rolls)

Instructions

In a bowl, cream together cream cheese & butter.

Add vanilla and powdered sugar.

Blend until smooth.

If using frosting for cupcakes or bars, stop here and frost.

If using frosting for cinnamon rolls, add milk and blend well. Spread over cinnamon rolls.
