Korean Beef and Rice (with Keto substitutions)

Korean Beef and Rice (with Keto substitutions)

I love finding recipes that everyone in my family loves! This Korean Beef and Rice is one of those recipes. It’s super quick and easy to make. And great for those nights when you forget to plan ahead for dinner. It’s also easily adapted for Keto (instructions are at the end).

Korean Beef and Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 T sesame oil
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1/4 C soy sauce
  • 1/4 t ground ginger
  • 1/2 – 1 t crushed red peppers
  • Rice (cooked)

Instructions

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown beef with garlic in the sesame oil.

Drain the fat and add brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, and red pepper. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors.

Serve over steamed rice.

To make it Keto friendly – Substitute MonkFruit sweetener for sugar and Tamari for soy sauce. Then serve over cauliflower rice.
