Instant Pot Hawaiian Chicken

Instant Pot Hawaiian Chicken

We are in the middle of renovating the pantry so every square inch of our kitchen is covered with food. I needed to fix something for dinner that only involved using the Instant Pot and microwave. The Asian Sesame dressing and pineapple juice just happened to be sitting next to each other on the table. And just like that, this recipe for Instant Pot Hawaiian Chicken was born.

Instant Pot Hawaiian Chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken breast, cut in chunks
  • 1 (6 oz) can pineapple juice
  • ½ C brown sugar
  • 1 (6 oz) bottle Asian Sesame dressing
  • rice, cooked

Instructions

Mix the chicken, pineapple juice, brown sugar, and dressing together in Instant Pot.

Cook on High Manual setting for 7 minutes.

Let it release naturally.

To thicken sauce, add 2 T cornstarch and 3 T water and sauté.

Serve over rice.

Instant Pot Hawaiian Chicken

This recipe was created when my house was in shambles and I could only use the Instant Pot and microwave. It's a great blend of Hawaiian and Asian flavors.
